omg this is creepy…

I just noticed something about the OSX Leopard clock widget.

The second hand does wiggle about for a split second upon advancement just like a bedside alarm clock would to in real life, now how creepy is that for a software clock? ;-)

However i grant that it adds to the look and feel and does seem like the right thing to do to make people feel more at home on their desktops, sometimes its the little things that count.

I like it.

Mylo who?

Alright Mylo is a stage name and complete, but why doesn’t anybody tell me that what i hear in mashups, remixes and eurodance tracks is this album?

Seems there is still much too few metadata with the music we hear. Location based services anyone? ;)

Flag and SEA-ME-WEA 4 undersea fibrecut

Yeah this has has already been in nationwide news shows, but a NANOG post just pointed me to

http://www.renesys.com/blog/2008/01/mediterranean_cable_break.shtml

which is a very nice report on the impact that the severage of those cables had. I wonder if Renesys has that kind of information constantly available to them, sounds like fun.

You know the world changed…

… when you notice that the Tele in the Underground is now playing the Electronic Sports League’s (ESL) eSPORT News instead of the usual Hollywood Entertainment Crap.

I’m still undecided whether this is a change for the worse or better though. ;)
